I was sent to Den Haag (Holland) to cover the annual Jazz Festival. The assignment was two weeks. I met a lot of Jazz Greats. I was so in the moment and enjoying the assignment and great music, that my creativity was firing on all cylinders. This photograph is a result of that creativity. I call it Jazz Still Life. To me Jazz music has a life of it own, it is alive, I wanted to make a still life portrait of something that is alive.
