Professional Artist Biography

Tania was born in Puerto Rico. People call May the month of the flowers, which is probably why she grew up with passion for all creations. She was raised on a beautiful farm like many other Puerto Ricans around a beautiful variety of flowers, gorgeous waterfalls and exuberant vegetation.

Deep thoughts and feelings in every aspect of her life have contributed to form her character. She's had experience in the law field and has also worked in the medical field. Her dreams and heart were always present, but her memories in the Plastic Arts School and The Chaviano Institute in San Juan, P.R. turned her direction in life again to her first love... Arts!.

She has reached many goals and achievements. Has participated in many art galleries like The Latin Museum of Arts in Miami, Colores del Caribe in the city Hall of Casselberry, Open House of Arts Exhibits, Osceola Center of the Arts, Art Festivals around the state, Art Galleries and Museums in Puerto Rico, virgin islands and many others activities like teaching about art to young students in schools keeping her with a busy scheduled.

This art piece represent people who are trapped in a negative situation or deteriorating relationship. They feel alone and speechless suffering inside while felling an immense pressure on top. It feels like an elephant weighting them down. Incapable of removing it they feel sumerge in a dark smoke. There are hands offering to help but they simply doesnt see the way out.
